The Farm

Our market garden covers about an acre and produces a wide variety of vegetable and berries. We begin our seedlings around March and ends in October when the frost sets in and pumpkins are ready for carving. During the height of the season, you’ll find our greenhouse full of tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers, rows of all the ingredients to make an amazing salad, fields of potatoes, kale, zucchini, winter squash, beets, beans, broccoli, flowers, and many more.

As we harvest, we take special care to only provide quality vegetables which means harvesting at the right time, cooling and washing properly, and delivering it to you as soon as possible.

You can get our farm fresh produce through our Produce Subscription, Saturday’s Kootenai County Farmers Market, or our Farm Stand.

The Lone Mountain chickens spend their days foraging outside and laying beautiful brown eggs. We started out with 10 hens, just to get our feet wet, and now after 3 years are up to 50 hen and one rooster. Our mix of laying breeds gives us a flock full of color and personality that bring a rewarding element to the farm. As they forage on green grass, clover, and sprouts, their eggs become more nutritious than commercial eggs especially the yolks which become a rich yellow/orange color full of omega-3, vitamin D & E, and more.

You can add farm fresh eggs through our Egg Subscription!

The hops spring forth like asparagus shoots in early spring and climb their way up to the sky until late summer harvest. We have 10 varieties on about ¼ acre that are dedicated to our farm crafted beer and our favorite brewers!

Come enjoy true farm-crafted beer soon at Saturday’s Kootenai County Farmers Market or our Farm Stand.

With less than 10 acres currently available, our grain production is focused on small plots of highly unique varieties selected for their flavors. This is then milled into flour or used in our farm-craft beers.
